Our Italian Red is a 2024 DOC Piemonte Barbera. It has a bigger body, with notes of dark fruits like blueberry and fig with nice chocolate notes on the nose and palate. The tannins are bigger yet velvety and smooth, with balanced acidity. This wine drinks beautifully on its own, but also pairs perfectly with risottos, cured salumi, charcuterie boards, and grilled meats. Bigger body, rounder mouthfeel, with a classic Medly smoothness that's approachable and easy to enjoy.

"I highly recommend Medly’s Italian Red! It tastes wonderful! Trust me when I say this wine lives up to everything Medly says: 1. It tastes great! The Italian Red is dry, but not too dry—just right! 2. I did not get any headache from it and woke up feeling fine! 3. NO INDIGESTION! I used to get some awful heartburn/indigestion with regular reds—but not Medly! I drank two glasses with no problems. 4. Bag design is a bit different, but not badly so. It is easy to carry and is easy to dispense the wine. In summary, I highly recommend Medly! It’s a refreshing change from all of the many toxic brands out there!"
